These riders will also receive a state jersey. Riders who race two qualifiers and the Championship race, will be qualified for a state series numberplate. However, because they meet the NBL's minimum requirement for eligibility to compete at the President's Cup, they will be required to pay $ 50.00 for their jersey. All jersey orders must be paid in full and ordered by the Championship race to receive a jersey at the discounted price of $50.00. Late orders must be received no later than 9/05/09 and the cost will be $50.00. Only ONE jersey will be given to a rider qualifying with more than one bike. Rider's who either, completes three qualifiers and the championship or two qualifiers and the championship and pays for their jersey will be eligible for the President's Cup and the "pay back". (Approved and revised by the Joint Commission April 20, 2009) Cost: Qualifiers - $ 35.00 Championship - $ 50.00 *There will be a $ 5.00 discount per rider, riding multiple bikes. Where your race fees are spent: The majority of the race fees paid is given back to the rider's in the form of a jersey, a state series ranking and number plate, and a pay-out for rider's representing the Carolinas at the President's Cup. Although the cost is higher per race than it was last year, it is the intention of the Joint Commission to respond to the economic crisis by limiting the number of races required and the amount of travel, without taking anything away from our riders. By limiting the number of races and the amount of travel, we hoped to make it easier to qualify, lower the overall cost of competing in the series, and making the series more accessible by holding the races in centralized locations. We have worked very hard to incorporate all of the ideas from everyone who provided us with feedback over the year, and to respond to the economic crisis. We were delighted to present the 2009 Series to the parents and riders of NC and SC with an overall savings of $ 45.00 over last year's cost with the same benefits. Cutting the number of required races from six to three/two and the Championship, means you will be driving less and saving even more. We have added a jersey design contest, described below, and left your Summer and Fall months open for vacations and Fall Series. We are listening and we do want to be heard, so please pass this around and give us your ideas, thoughts, opinions, concerns and question. We'll be glad to hear from you, just give us a chance. CLICK HERE Thank you. NOTE: ANY RIDER may compete in the State Championship for points ONLY, and may be placed in an OPEN CLASS. There will be NO GHOST RIDERS. If a rider is injured during the State Series, the rider must pay registration and roll the gate, in order to get qualified for the State Championship and the President's Cup, but only for the required number of races.
